Let's move on to the exciting part, okay?
I'm very excited to be hosting:

Lissa Price
Lissa Price’s debut novel STARTERS is an international bestseller published in over thirty countries. Dean Koontz called this YA futuristic thriller “a smart, swift, inventive, altogether gripping story.” STARTERS appeared on many best of lists and won top awards in the Netherlands, Germany and France. Kirkus called the sequel, ENDERS, “delightfully disturbing.” Lissa lives in Southern Calif with deer and coyotes for neighbors.
If you want to find out more about Lissa and her books, check out her website!

The book she's promoting is ENDERS!

The thrilling end to the questions raised in Starters is here. Someone is after Starters like Callie and Michael—teens with chips in their brains. They want to experiment on anyone left over from Prime Destinations—Starters who can be controlled and manipulated. With the body bank destroyed, Callie no longer has to rent herself out to creepy Enders. But Enders can still get inside her mind and make her do things she doesn’t want to do, like hurt someone she loves. Having the chip removed could save her life—but it could also silence the voice in her head that might belong to her father. Callie has flashes of her ex-renter Helena’s memories, too . . . and the Old Man is back, filling her with fear. Who is real and who is masquerading in a teen body? No one is ever who they appear to be. Determined to find the Old Man to stop him, and grasping at the hope of a normal life for herself and her younger brother, Callie is ready to fight for the truth. Even if it kills her.

I LOVED this book! A great ending to a great series!!!

EXCLUSIVE CONTENT REMOVED

Love it! I could read it at least 5 more times! If you want to buy ENDERS (you really should!), here's a link

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I mentioned above, I'm running a bonus contest! I'll be giving away two audiobooks of IMPOSTOR (you can win an ARC of its sequel DEFECTOR in the big hunt giveaway)! Enter the rafflecopter below for a chance to win!

I listen to audio books while I'm traveling by train :) I have to travel for 4 hours every day by train so it's great to listen to audio books at least if there aren't any people next to me talking loud and stuff xD

Thanks for participating! I just bought Enders on my Kindle over the weekend, and I have Impostor on my Goodreads want-to-read list. I love that cover! It's fascinating. :)

I don't listen to audiobooks. I prefer to read things by myself. I get into stories a lot better if I read the words myself.

I don't really listen to audiobooks all that often but my husband love them. He has to commute for work each week and he really enjoys having a good book to listen to.

I listen to audio books when I go running in the morning. I find it as relaxing as running itself and it motivates me more than music because if its a good part, I run farther!

I listen to audiobooks on my way to work in the car! I have about a 45 min drive one way. Not only does it pass the time, but I get to read double the books I would regularly! Total win-win!

I'm new to audio books, but my preferred time would be at bedtime. When I want to read, but my husband is sleeping and won't let me keep the light on.

*Exaggerated sigh* Husbands, right?

I don't use audiobooks too much, but they are great in the summer, when it's extremely sunny outside. (Tanning with a book is not as easy as one may think.)

I haven't actually really listened to audiobooks before, but I am really interested in doing so. I would probably listen to it while I drive. Or other times holding a book wouldn't be an option.

I listen to audiobooks in the car with my kids when we're running errands, in the car when we're traveling, and sometimes I pop in the headphones and listen when I'm doing housework. My preschooler son BEGS for "car book, please, mama!" as soon as we get in the car. We're currently listening to Harry Potter (at his request after watching all the movies AGAIN last weekend!)

When I'm in the car, usually, especially for any kind of long (or longish) drive. We used to have a super long commute (93 miles each way) and we listened to a ton of audiobooks. I hadn't thought about listening to an audiobook while at the gym until this post, but it's definitely something I'll consider!

And I would especially love to win this one because I won a copy of your book from Winterhaven Books last Jan or Feb and never received it, so I would love to finally have the chance to read it! Thanks :)

I've never tried listening to an audiobook before, I still am hesitant about them, though I do have some in my computer. One of these days I'm gonna go for it :)

bibliophileprincess said...

To be honest, I don't listen to audiobooks. I have the bad habit of having to go back over what I just read. SMH. I get distracted, or as I'm reading my mind wanders, you know the drill. So I like to be able to have the ability to be able to go back to where I "left off" and with audiobooks you can't really do that as easily. Plus with printed books (including ebooks) you get to come up how the character's accent sounds (or even create one) and how to pronounce the character's name.
